Its Coming

Theres an update coming today, I can feel it. Nothing much going on, but I do need to get some pictures up. Okay one little cute story.

Last night, Nathan was eating candy. Now almost 3-yr-olds do not keep a clean face, and considering it was green candy, his face, and especially on the tip of his nose. Anyways, he has me drag him into the potty, and he does his thing. He turns around to walk out and stops. He takes two steps back, looks in the mirror, looks at me, looks in the mirror, looks back at me, and says "wat happen my nose?" Hahahahaha, remember he is a little slow on his talking (starts speech next Tuesday) But that just cracked me up, and to boot, he just really started asking lots of questiosn this week, and I mean TONS.

EQupdate: Short and sweet, Zym, 69 provie, Attalyne, now 31 carpenter. Krys is 66, and I think that about it. =)

YAY!!

Well this past week has just been hell and back and ended with a bang. lol.

Let's see. A week ago Saturday was Scott's final interview with Chrysler. He called me as he got out of the interview and was on his way home. "Honey, they are gonna call me today with my schedule, pay rate, and start date" Woohoo. We both dance around and have a good day, till say, 1pm. They hadn't called. Sunday, no call. Very annoying. Scott had Tuesday and Thursday off, so he was starting to feel really anxious.

Had the phone forwarded to my cell phone on Monday, just in case. No phone call. We are making dinner and I say to him, "They are going to call you tomorrow." At this point, Scott is feeling a little sick (Worried), and I as well. To be this close to being out of Hellmart, and out of financial worries, is just too much to take.

Well about 10 on Tuesday, I call Scott to see whats going on. He says he is just playing EQ2 and is about to go take a nap. So we get off the phone and go about the rest of the day, or so I thought. He calls me back about 15 minutes later. My first question, was of course, I thought you were taking a nap? He tells me, well I was but, Chrysler just called and I have orientation tomorrow and I start work on Tuesday. WOOHOO WOOHOO.

But alas, that is a Wednesday and he has to work, oh dear, if he calls in sick he is sure to be fired, considering all the days he had taken off in the past two weeks, for Chrysler and the Post office. So he decideds to just do the right thing. He goes in and talks to the co-manager of the store and is upfront and gets things taken care of.

So Wednesdays bring orientation. 8 hours worth. I finally get to talk to him when I get home from work. He says they are in the process of switchign hours. IE going from 8 hr days to 9 hr days. And that they will call next week, and when they call, he starts the next day and of course this is all going to be second shift. Grrrrrrr. More anxiety. So then he himhaws about what to do with walmart. We get to talking and I tell him, that I think he should make Friday his last day, because he does not want to miss the phone call from Chrysler. And even if he doesnt work next week, the way paydates fall at walmart (every two weeks) versus Chrysler (every week) it wont hurt us at all.

So he going in on Thurs, tells Friday is his last day, he gets some crap about it. Hello????? $20/hr vs $8/hr. Hmmmm let me think. DuH!!! About 15 minutes later he calls me back, and says to write this down, So and so's name, h26 chassis, and then be there one hour earlier. And he starts Tuesday. "Oh and one other thing, hun. I will be on first shift" WHOOOPPPIIIIIEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About 20 minutes later, the whole roller coasters comes crashing, the tears finally end, the headache begins, and I want to just take a damn nap. But its all done.

He starts tomorrow. 45 hours this week. 9 hrs tues-fri and 9 and sat. Oh did I tell you that they pay overtime on a daily basis. After 8 hours a day, the rest are overtime. Did you know, that Saturdays are pure time and a half, regardless of how many hours you work that week. And Sundays are double time. Holy buckets of joy, batman. And next week, I think is 54 hours. Mon-sat. 9 hours a day. I think I am gonna cry again.

EQUpdate: I havent been playing much, my mind just too preoccupied with other things. This weekend went well. We grouped up Friday night and ran around Sanctum of Scaleborn, that was fun. Had a really good group as well. And I really want to group with Troubadors, a hell of a lot more.

Sunday, Scott played an alt, and he got into a group with them. I threw up LFG and went on my way. Okay, I am gonna go here and rant. Some guy in the Barren Sky was /ooc for a dps or a healer for Palance of Awakened. Now, I havent been there yet and I really wanted to go, so I sent him a tell. He says I am not high enough DPS. huh????????????????????? I am a 65 wizzy, my best damage spells are adept3 or master. and I dont have enough dps?????? Ass wipe. Ended up getting a group for the Nest, and dinging 66. Rock on, baby.

Hmmm

Lots going on. Lets see.

Scotts final interview is at Chrysler tomorrow. 90% of them walk out with their schedule in hand. He also had another interview at the post office Wednesday.

Trenton had his tooth pulled yesterday. Today you would never know that the work had been done. Hes totally normal.

Nathan, well, is Nathan.

EQ, not too much going on.

Scott has his final interview tomorrow at Chrysler. 90% of them walk out with their schedule in hand. He is so nervous. They called yesterday and said that he needed to be the walk in clinic today at 1 for a final physical and a pee test. He had to go into work today and request today and tomorrow off (on top of having Wed and Thurs off) and had a talk with his boss, stating personel problems afoot. He boss was cool with it. So thank god. He was so afraid (and I was a little as well) that he would lose his wally world job, trying to get into Chrysler.

So keep those fingers crossed.

Trenton had his tooth pulled yesterday. He did allright. Although, he did scream and yell when we got home. I think the anestetic (lord knows I spelled that wrong) was wearing off. He was screaming, "I am never going back to the doctor again, you cant make me!!!!" Does not make you feel good.

So we put his lovely fallen (pulled) tooth under his pillow. And the tooth fairy brought him $2. Well Nathan didnt want to sleep well last night, so I went and laid with him, as I did not feel like fighting with him last night, (I was tired) and a few minutes later I here some noise coming from the top bunk. I look over and there is Trenton climbing down. He sees me look at him and begins waving his two dollars bills around, with a huge ass grin on his face. He was so excited. It was great to see.

Nathan has been funny this past couple days. It has been very nice out as of late. So we have been playing outside alot. And the boy really loves baseball. Well Wed night, Scott was cooking a pork roast and went to add water to it, and it was cold water to a hot glass dish, so can you guess what happened? Yes yes we exploded. So I head outside and ask the boys what they wanted for dinner. Nathans answer.... "No. Play outside." Twice he said that. Bah. The whole night, thats all I heard.

Then the next morning we wake him and the first thing out of his mouth. "outside. Baseball." This is gonna be one interesting summer.

Nathan also started gymnastics last night. He did really good, except he kept wanting to do what the other kids were doing. As in, he kept taking off and going to other centers and not the ones you are not supposed to be at. He was really cute, though, and tried really hard to get everything done.

EQupdate: Not much to update. The only day I played this week was Wed, and we went to scrawling cliffs and made a few $$.

Kids these days....

"Trenton, what did you do in school today?"

"I forgot"

"I just picked you up. How could you forget that fast?"

"Mom, I took the memory card out of my brain, and put it away." (said in all seriousness)

Gotta love them =)
