Weekend news

Well, the weatherman was just a little off on his predictions for this weekend. Going from 1-3 in the afternoon and 6-10 overnight, to maybe an inch total. That's okay. I really didn't want to have to deal with a ton of snow right now.

We went out on Friday to the mall. Grabbed something to eat and then went to the play area where Trenton decided to terrorize his brother and get in trouble. Then, Nathan and another little girl ran head on into each other. It was horrible. Trenton did straighten out his attitude some. I don't know where it is coming from but it really needs to get out of here.

Also decided to upgrade Scott's computer. He has been having a problem crashing in EQ2, and then we noticed on a restart, that his computer was reading his video card at a 128 instead of a 256. hmmm. So we decided to just go ahead and get a new card and went with a 512. We are having some serious issues. It is not installing, keeps telling me that we need to get drivers for a VGA monitor set up. Am very confused. And instead of going with Nvidia this time around, we decided to try ATI. Did you know ATI does not have phone support on the weekends? They also do not have live customer support on the net. Really not cool. Will call them tonight and if it comes down to it, will take the damn card back and just get an Nvidia. Bah.

We also got him a 19" wide screen. (The same one I got for Christmas) God those monitors kick ass. Woohoo.

EQLand: Krys started working on Claymore this weekend. Up to keys to trust on her. Got the damn dragon language quest done (that sucked ass) and started all the HQ's that came out with EoF. Looked up the beginning of Swords of destiny quest line so I can start that when it goes live. And found another 8/9 quest line series that I want to do, but am curious as being a DE if I can. Corruption in the Faydark, I believe is the name of it. I am really needing aa's, lol. Also on Krys I still have hoolahs to do and I am on the trials portion of MoA. Also am now at 165 Transmuting. Not sure if that was mentioned last time.

With Zym, I am up to trading info on the claymore line. (don't really care about HQ's with her) I have started the dragon language. Spoke with the giant in Naggy's liar, but haven't been to Antonica yet. I really dread all the running around. Gained another AA, I think I am at 64 now. Did the nest and Vaults. Never been to vaults, I think resulted in a full AA point there.

Cant wait for Unrest, come on LU32!!!!!!!!!!

Disney on Ice

OMG was that so much fun. The boys had an absolute blast. Nathan wasn't too sure about it at first though. He kind of hid his eyes and was peaking through his fingers. Once he decided that he liked it, it was great. He never stopped smiling and he clap with all his might.

Trenton liked it very much as well. Every time I got a glance at him, he had a cheesy grin on his face. hehe. The worst about it though, was leaving and not getting them any toys. I was not spending $20 for a toy that would be broken in several days. Not gonna happen, so we had a little fight about that.

Now Nathan wants to be able to skate on the ice as well. Which is fine by me, I think we might take them over to the ice arena this weekend, and see what he really thinks, lol. But I think that will be interesting as I have never been ice skating myself. hmmm

EQLand: Not a damn thing. Didn't play last night.

:(

Well, yesterday was Nathan's first day at pre-school. And it was so bittersweet. I just can't believe that he is in school now. Let's see what happened. Monday night we talked about how he was going to go to school and play and have fun with all the other kids and teachers. He was also going to start to learn stuff, like numbers, colors, shapes, and the alphabet. He was so excited. Then I talked to him about the fact that momma was going to drop him off there and go back to work, and if that was all right with him. Of course he said yes.

Well off to bed they go. About an hour later I hear little footprints coming into the back room. I ask Nathan if he is too excited about school to sleep and he says he doesn't want me to leave him there, that I need to stay there with him at school. Poor baby. So he finally gets to sleep around 11pm.

The next morning he was so difficult to get up and I knew he was going to be tired. But we went about, got dressed, packed our backpacked and headed out on our way. He had to go to Mel's first, as his class is in the afternoon. So, I go and pick him up at 12:15 to get him off to school. Again, he is very excited but saying that I needed to stay with him. :(

We get to school, meet the teacher (no students in class yet) and he gets to look around. Then the bell rings and the kids start coming in. You can tell he is starting to get a little scared. But then he sees a friend of his named Dylan and things begin to calm down a little bit. He gives me kisses and hugs and says goodbye, but just stares at me with that don't leave look. Broke my heart. Took me about an hour to calm down and feel okay about it.

We go to pick him up, and there he is all little, sitting down in line, waiting for us to get him. Ask him how his day went. He says that they played shapes with the teacher, they played in the sand with the teacher, he had chocolate milk for snack, and then the teacher had to turn off the light and tell us be quiet so she could teach. After saying all that he promptly fell asleep. lol.

So all in all, his day went really well, and now I am waiting for Scott to call me and let me know how today went.

Nothing else going on in our land. Work is good, co workers suck ass. That's about it there.

EQLand: Well went on a raid to Labs with Zymeria the other night. Got a piece of armor (can't remember what it is for the life of me, right now). The raid kinda sucked. It looked like a pickup raid and boy did we do a lot of standing around. Last night I tried to work on the Claymore Quest with Krys, and well, we camped Bozar for over two hours and he never made an appearance. Suck ass. Although I did get Zephina to 65 Jeweler. YAY!!

Hi

Well, I can't remember what I have typed and when, so I guess I will just start all over, lol. So what is going on? A whole lot and then some more. Let's do this the easy way :)

Nathan: Well after fighting, bitching and moaning, I finally got Nathan back into speech therapy after our insurance switch. Had to find a new therapist, and that sucked, but he is back in. I also had him tested out at the local pre-school. You have to have some sort of delay to get into this pre-school (yes I was going to use his speech, rather cheap of me, I know). Well we went for testing and they say he doesn't have a speech problem. Hmm tell that to the therapist and poor ole Han Trolo (aka Han Solo). And maybe the pretty little bubberplies (butterflies) would like some time in that sun as well.

Anyways after having a discussion with the schools therapist (a very heated one at that) they called me the other day. It appears they would like to keep an eye on Nathan's speech. So he starts pre-school tomorrow. I also spoke to Nathan's private therapist and she states what he has, besides 10 letter switches, is a lateral lisp.

Trenton: Is now a tiger cub, in the great Boy Scouts. He is liking it and having fun. 1st grade is treating him well. We had a few attitude problems, but it is getting much better now. As is his reading. He graduated his little individual reading program and is on par with the rest of the class. He is also one of the top in his class for Mathematics. Yay!!

Scott: Still working at Chrysler and still on 3rd shift. That's okay, works well for now. That's about all that's going on in his land.

Me: Not much going on here either. I quit smoking for a while. Started back up. I could not handle the voices, ARGHHHHHHH!!!! (haha) I started a work out program called T-tapp. I really really like it and it makes me feel really good. Go go me. Other that that, life around here is the same =)

EQLand: Well this might have the biggest updates. So I will just do a quick round up. Krystalea is now 70 Wizard/70 Sage/67 aa's/167 Transmuting. Zymeria is now 70 Defiler/70 Provisioner/61 aa's/18 Tinkering (just cant harvest that much, lol) Zephina - 64 Jeweler, Attalyne - 24(25?) Troubadour/53 Carpenter, Myrinna - 36 Conjuror/50 Weaponsmith and Arzania (my little fae) - 23 Swashbuckler/20 Woodworker.

Hidden Agenda (my guild) allied with another really small guild, called Tears of Blood and we have been having a blast. Its nice finally have a flippin competent group to do things. So right now we are working on claymore stuff and instances. Gonna see about getting help with Hoolah. I could use that hat, And also Mark of Awakening, really want that.

Can't wait for Estate of Unrest to go in, though. And the beginning of Prismatic 4.0. Another quest line, should bring good rewards and lots of aa's. Woohoo. I just wonder when the next expansion pack will be out. /ponders
