I hate coming up with titles

We had a very good weekend. It started out a little slow, but really worked its way up. On Friday we didn't do much. Trenton had a dentist appointment which went very well. Although we no longer have insurance, Scott had them bill the insurance. Bah. Trenton's teeth are all nice and clean, and no cavities. Yay! I didn't need another $3k summer like last year. His enamel really sucks, so he has to be extra diligent when it comes to his teeth.

Saturday was the day. Nathan actually slept in, till 8:45. Which was good and bad. If we didn't have plans that would have rocked. But considering we should have been out of the house by 8:45, it kinda sucked. At any rate, we got up and headed out to Lori's. Nathan was going to see the horses and maybe even ride one. Oh dear me, lol. We got there and he just decided to play shy and it was really funny to watch him slowly start to warm up, but it was the horses that helped him to do that. He fed them carrots and he brushed them, and then he got to ride one. Oh my. He loved it. That's all he talked about the rest of the weekend.

We then came home to wanting to ride our bike and go go go. So we tried to go go go until I got tired. Not tired, as in wanting to take a nap, but physically tired. My legs hurt so bad, after walking around the farm, leading horses, and then having to come home and lead Nathan on the bike (so to speak). I hadn't sat down at all that day. So I made Nathan come in the bedroom and lay down with me and watch a movie. Mr. I Am Not Tired, fell asleep. It was a nice nap, lol.

Then Trenton and Scott came home. They had their trip to Galena with the boy scouts. Apparently they had a lot of fun and poor Scott had a lot of sun. He was really burnt. They didn't tell me much, well some. They had to walk a ton, and there was a parade and a water bucket race (/shrugs) and they ate constantly, and there were a ton of little shops that Scott wants to take me too, sans kids.

Lets see. We played outside a lot, enjoying the wonderful weather, and that's about it.

EQLand: Well Krys is almost through 87. Hoping to get back to Lfay tonight or tomorrow night. Have to wait for Val to get back on, he is on vacation. Got my gloves, ya baby. That's piece #4. I still need the legs, head, and forearms. Getting there. I now have 110 combines waiting on her for transmuting.

I played my swashy quite a bit. She is about 4% from dinging 26, lol. And she also dinged AA13 I think. Gotta love all these quests.

I think that is about it for now. :)

My Bike

This weekend, with the boys playing outside and it was so nice, Scott decided to clean out the garage. Mostly. Well in the process, all the boys (except Nathan) were riding bikes and poor Nathan was chasing after them, Scott found Trenton's old little bike and rolled it out into the front yard. Of course Nathan sees this and wants to ride it. I tell him that he cant just yet as we need to buy some training wheels for it so he doesn't fall, and then when he gets really good we can take the training wheels and he can ride it like that all he wants.

Of course, that made him very sad. A little while later Scott declares he has to run to the store for some things and he will be right back. About an hour later he gets home, and here Nathan is sitting next to me with this bike all sad that he cant ride it.

Well Scott comes over and asks what is wrong and I tell him the story and Nathan just continues to sit there and look sad. So Scott says, "Look at this Nathan." And out of his bag he pulls a set of training wheels. This child started jumping up and down and clapping and screaming. It was great. Now all I hear is about riding his bike and that's all he wants to do, and he is already getting really good at it. Yay!!

I bought new shows for the boys this weekend. They fit really well. So I thought. I had to go out and purchase another bigger shoe for Trenton last night. Will someone please tell these children to quit growing so fast!!

Monday night was kind of wild. I was driving home (had the truck) and some guy starts waving and motioning to roll my window down. He says my rear tire is going flat and that there is a gas station up the way. I tell him thank you and mention I live maybe 5 minutes from where we were and I would be good. Well I get into the turn lane at the next light and I swear I can hear the grind of metal. I make my turn and pull onto the side road, get out, and sure as shit the tire is flat as can be.

I hop back into the truck, call Scott, then call the Hospital to say Nathan is not going to make it and wait. When Scott gets there he gets going on changing the tire, and I decide to wait about 5 minutes before I have to leave and get Trenton from school. Good thing I did. There was no freaking jack in the truck. As a side note, we bought the truck were I work at about 6 months ago. So he gets in the car and we get Trenton, run by dad's work, grab his jack and precede back to the truck. After a little bit of trouble here and there, get the tire changed and start putting everything back where it belongs. Then I notice something really goofy. The tires on the truck are 17" and the spare is 16". Just lovely. As of now, the truck is still sitting in my service department, but should be done today. Lovely.

EQUpdate: Haven't been doing much. I think I updated everything on Monday for EQ. I did get krys to 86 aa's though. Met a very nice level 19 Wizard looking for advice the other night. A little too talkative (and for me, that is weird, considering how talkative I normally am).

We are talking about hitting X2 content, a couple people in Tears have hit 60 and with them, we can pull 2 full groups together. So we were thinking of the Silent City. If you have any ideas, please help me. :)

The guild dinged 26. And we are almost 30% through it now. I have been doing writs. I am also going to set up Guild Writ Night, at least once a week. I may do twice a week, not sure yet. I also set up a page on guild portal, but seeing I am at work, I am blocked from that site. I will get it linked up here in the next day or two.

Ugh

I have been so sick. Woke up on Wednesday morning with a fever that did not go away until Friday late afternoon. I am still feeling worn out. What really sucks about it, is that Wednesday was also my anniversary. 9 years. Scott and I have been married 9 years. Wow. Doesn't feel like it.

So, needless to say, I have not done much since last Wed. This weekend was beautiful and the boys played outside for the most part. I was feeling better, just needed several naps to make it through the weekend.

EQUpdate. Didn't do much here either. Lets see, Carpenter to level 64. Woodworker to level 32. Tinkering to 175/350 (halfway there, yay). We did try to go to Nizara on Saturday. Tough zone. We need to get more geared up, I believe. We also tried Nek3, which reminds I need to look for a cheat sheet, lol. Zym dinged AA 70. I think that's about it. Oh I spent all my money and purchased Vertabrack for Krys.

We did ding the guild level 26, and are now 24% through 26. We found that the writs in Kelethin (loping plains) run much quicker, and offer more status. Goal is level 30 and keep ticking. Running a couple nights a week, pulling done status for the guild and to see where we end up. :)

Title

Well its the different day, same crap. Not much going on around the homefront. The boys are being boys, and Scott and I are just working and following the kids. Although tonight we the book fair at Trenton's school. Lets see how expensive it is to get out of there. lol.

Not much happening in EQland either, but will do update.

Krys is about 11% from dinging AA 86. We are hoping to hit Nizara this Saturday and we shall see what happens there. Also, Wednesday, Modex and I have a date with a guild ally to finish up the quests in LFay. So that should net some XP. Been looking at my level 60 and above quest list I built, and still have lots to do to get those last 14. Now I just have to start on Zymeria, lol.

Zymeria dinged AA 69. Now I have one of Scotts characters to mentor in Steamfont, and Modex's character to mentor in LFay. So I will have to pick up quests from the 60 list (made a second one for Zymeria) and go from there.

Now, I started leveling my Fae some, and started with the BB line of quests. I think if I do her right, she should pretty much ding 100 at the same time as 70. That would be cool. =)

Tradeskills wise.

Krys now has 68 powders waiting to turn over into skill ups. Still sitting at 185/350. Got to thinking, that when I ding that elusive 350, I should build up another 100 combines in the bank for when they raise the level cap.

Zymeria is now at about 135 or 140 tinkering. Same with her on the components. Will build about 100 combines for when the level cap goes up. I can just log in and have that done within a day of the expansion going live.

Carpenter is now 62 about halfway to 63.
Weaponsmith sitting in the middle of 51.
Woodworker dinged 30. Building up her supplies for a run though the 30's. Hope to have that set up by Friday. Whether I spend the money or not. Right now I don't care about that, I just want it done. By the end of April, I want my Carp as close to 70 as she can get. My woodworker to be at least 40 and hopefully my weaponsmith to 55. lol. Not expecting much on her =p.

Pictures

Sometime today or tomorrow I will make a post, but just wanted to say I added a link to my google photo account. Now the boys pictures are marked private, but the EQ2 are public.

Testing picture link to see if it works. If not I will delete.

EQland

Yes a separate post as the other one was very long.

Krystalea: Doing good, will more than likely ding AA#80 tonight. Been working on quests. Amazing how quick the aa's add up with those. Friday we finally made it to Mistmoore Catacombs. We were only able to kill one named in there, (there was another group in there) so I still have all that AA to get. But is that zone fun. :)

We did Unrest on Saturday night. We also did really well in our little group. We did not end up with much loot at all. But Sas ended up with her class hat, so all is good.

Modex and I ran around Steamfont last night, mentoring one of Scott's alts and doing the quests in there. We did the first round of quests up top, and all of watchman whats his face when you first enter SF, and ended up with over 1 aa. I did get Clockwork L&L finished as well. So we still have the second half of quests, plus we have yet to touch the ones that take us into Klak'anon. It was really fun. We were talking of after SF running over to LFay and doing those, and then I thought this morning, maybe we could run and do the ton of quests in Butcherblock as well.

Depending on Modex (if he logs in tonight) I will do the creature catalogs from DoF. There is 6 of those, and I would think that should get me around 1aa there as well. My goal for this week was to hit 80, now I am thinking 81 or 82 might actually be very feasible.

Some of my other goals, hehe.

Krys is still at 185 transmuting, but I do have 16 powders sitting on her to transmute. I know that wont get me to 200, but I still am keeping a good eye on the broker. I may stick with T4, not sure, as the adepts for T4 are the same price as T1 & T2. Until I hit T6 and I can farm Poets.

Zymeria got her tinkering to 102. Yay. BTW, I hate harvesting. Next.

Attalyne the carpenter, dinged 61 yesterday. I believe that Myrinna my weaponsmith is now level 52. And my Woodworker is level 24 now.

I am getting there. Slowly, but right now, without an announcement for the next expansion, I think I am going really well. Just now thinking, I will have to do the steamfont quests with Zymeria. She is sitting at aa68 I believe.

Happy Easter

Well its been busy busy this past week or so. Easter came and went. It was fun. Saturday started out kind of bad for us. Trenton and Nathan were both really cranky. Trenton had just gotten in trouble for something, so Scott sent him to go lay in bed and calm down. I was getting ready to take a nap (had to get prepared for an Unrest run =p) and I told him to come lay with me. So then Nathan followed us, and Trenton told him to be quiet and get out as he had a headache. Next thing I know it is two hours later and we are both just starting to wake up. Trenton was in a much better mood.

Then Scott decided it was time for him to take a nap. I began fixing lunch for Trenton and myself (as Nathan had already eaten) and I take a glimpse of Nathan. He is sitting on the floor, watching cartoons and looks like he is ready to fall over asleep. So I tell him, "Why don't you climb up on the couch and get comfy, relax for a few minutes and watch your show?" Sure enough, he was out like a light, and I tossed him in bed with Scott.

Finally, everyone in the house is awake, alert and ready to go with no attitude. Now it is time to color Easter eggs, and do you think Scott picked up easy egg coloring kits? Of course not. It wasn't too bad. There was a tie dye egg kit and a glitter egg kit. The boys had a blast doing this and it was great. They could not wait to to see what the Easter bunny had brought them and find the eggs.

Now, I have hardly made comments about my Mother In Law (MIL for short) but I need to now. You see, she showed up on Saturday around 3 or so, to drop off Easter baskets for the boys, but what she failed to tell us, was that she was going to stick around, because Tom had to go to Belvidere and do some work out there. Now MIL lives in BFE (about 1 1/2 hours away) and commutes to Rockford everyday. So does Tom. They live together and have one flipping car. WTF? I cant imagine that. Anyhow. So then she ends up staying until 7:30pm. Seriously. After all the time she spent at my house over the winter, because Tom was on second and she was on first and they didn't want to drive two cars. Get the hell out of my house already. I am still salty over that.

About 5:30 she decided she needed to go over to Modex's and see his daughter and give to her, her Easter basket. She looks at Scott and asks to borrow my car (grrrrrrrrrrrr). Scott tells her, she needs to call over there first. So she does, finds out Modex is not home, and then she just tells (doesn't ask) tells Sarah that she will be there in about 5 minutes. Another WTF?

When she gets back to our house, she is all upset that she didn't feel wanted over there. That Sarah only sat and talked with her for a few minutes and then got up and started dinner. Well, hello?? You invited yourself to her house, at around dinnertime no less, and then get all pissy because she needed to start dinner. WTF? (whats that? number 3?)

Anyways, she left around 7:30, much to my relief and we started backroom night, and our trip to Unrest. Much to my surprise Nathan had fallen asleep at 10pm, even with his nap. But much to my dismay, poor Trenton didn't get to sleep til almost 1am.

Sunday morning was a blast. They ran and found all their eggs and their baskets. Then we spent the rest of our time at home, hiding and finding eggs. We went over to my Mom and Dad's for dinner, yummy. Came home and went to bed early, lol.

Last night, when I got home, Scott was in a real foul mood. Asking him what was wrong led to this: MIL called him on his cell phone, as he was picking up the boys from the sitters. It appears her truck had broken down on the other side of town. Remember her commute. 1 1/2 hours each way. The truck has over 150k miles on it, is around 10 years old, has broken down about 4 times in the past 6 months. 3 of those times, she had called Scott to come help her.

She calls and asks if Scott can come on get her. He tells her no, nicely. He has the boys and I am at work, and he is not gonna waste all this time working with getting her to work and her truck towed with the boys around. She starts to get pissy. He flips out on her. Yelling at her to call a tow truck, shes an adult and can take of this stuff herself. Tells her that he thinks Tom is ruining her and her life. Telling her that she needs to move back to town, and she is not allowed to get pissy at people for not wanting to come out to her house. Tells her to get a better vehicle, like the little Kia we showed her that got 50mpg versus that god forsaken truck and wasting near $200 a week on gas (lord that's more than my house payment). And then she hung up on him. Nice, eh?

She is on second shift this week, so lets see what happens this weekend. She if she calls, or see if she feels that both her boys are now against her. You know, I had some problems with Denny (Scott's dad) but those I could get past, lord I wish he was still with us, and we would not have to deal with this shit. He kept her in line.

Owies and Movies

Remember Trenton's owie from playing basketball last week? Uh, ya, me too. Unfortunately, it has scabbed over, but there are no visible signs of healing taking place. So I told Trenton to come over and let me take a good look at it. Yuck. The damn scab, I don't think is a scab, but just a puss pocket. It was green and black and just downright disgusting looking. So Scott took some ointment and put it on there and then bandaged it up. BTW, this thing is about the size of a half-dollar.

So, before bed, Trenton decided he wanted to take the bandage off and take a look at the scab. Which was fine by me, because you could tell something was going on as the bandage on the outside was turning black. We took off the bandage and there was no scab left, just junk. Black/green junk. I have never seen a scab not be a scab after sitting in antibiotic ointment. So we cleaned all the way down to the original scrap/gash....wound. Disgusting. I am actually interested in seeing what it looks like tonight, as Scott took care of it this morning and I didn't get a chance to peek in on it. Poor kid, that's gonna be one hell of a scar.

We finally got Scott up and running on the computer. Yay. Overheating. Bah. That is all I am going to say about that.

Watched Eragon this weekend. I liked it. I may or may not have cried when Jeremy Irons died and when I thought the dragon was going to die. /glances around. I just absolutely love John Malkovich's voice. OMG. So divine. Although the ending just totally left it open for the second one. My favorite part (all girly I am) was when the boy woke up with the baby dragon all cuddled up next him.

EQLand: Well Krys is just about to ding aa 77 I think. 8% out. We had a really good night on Saturday. We hit PoA for Trol, and was able to get his hoola hat update and we snagged on the dragon. Two masters out of that zone, but they were off trash mobs. Then we went to the Crypt. Nothing to be had there unfortunately. And the we hit OoB, and Modex walked away with the signet of light and darkness. We had a blast and it was a really good weekend.

Got my carpenter to level 60, and my weaponsmith to 51. Need roots. T6 root hunting sucks, lol. Transmuting, nothing more, but have 8 powders waiting for me to go. Now that they changed the tinkering side of loams. I can start working on that again. Its funny, that stuff sells. Just takes forever. Good thing I have lots of room on my sales board.
