This is the wizard fabled set.

This is the view off the docks in Kylong plains. That big castle in back? Karnors.

Here is the combine spire city, Terens Grasp.

This is the ghost image of the dragon emitting from the dragon skeleton in the Field of Bone.

Here is what the Wizard Fabled Set looks like.

Here is a picture of the docks in Kylong.

Here is the new persona window. The faction tab is really cool as well, it has a drop down box so you can choose the expansion you want. So if I want to see Kunarks faction list, just use the dropdown. Lots easier to find specific factions with that.

Beta Stuffs 11-12-07

This will be huge and I am not anywhere near done, so forgive me now. =p

As I am typing these little blips up the next day while at work, please disregard the fact that I cannot remember all the names of all the places I have visited. Or the correct name of the little flying dude. I will try to go back and make name corrections as I really begin to learn them, but that is not guaranteed.

RoK – Day 1

Well I had to make a Sarnak as the character copy hadn’t happened yet. Did a few quests on Timorous Deep and then headed over to Kylong Plains. There was this nifty lady there, know your travel, was her title, I think. Hail her and away you land on the docks at Kylong. Meet the beta buffer Mike. Buffing was only up to level 72. Will check in a couple days and see if he is higher than that.

Took me about an hour or so to set up my hot bars, my aa’s, check all my gear and establish some fundage. Mike gives out crappy crappy gear. Sorry Mike. But there is a guy right next to him who gives out gear. Hail him and pick two stats. Well considering I am a wizard, I picked Intelligence and bonus spell damage. It all has +30 int and +19 spell damage. Not the greatest but will work.

I hit the broker next. Need to upgrade a few spells. The buffer gives you all adept 1’s but I did need a few adept 3’s and masters. Found a few, thank god Ice Nova was one of them. The one thing I disliked was that people were selling this stuff for a ton of plat. Hello you can buy the damn rare's off the tradeskill buffer guy. Seriously. 12 copper for a T8 Emerald (rare gem). This one guy has the rare jewelry up for 118plat. Crazy I say. Not like you get to keep the money, why not let someone have it and try it out.

Now, I noticed that the only way into Tim Deep is your call spell. So it looks like the only people allowed in Gorowan are the toons that start there, basically. FYI, Gorowan is the city that is located in Tim Deep. It is not a separate zone. Think Kelethin/GFay. If I find anything out different I will let you know.

Back to Kylong (aka Dreadlands). There is a bunch of quests right there on the docks. One will get you access to the travel things (bah I can’t remember the name right now). Walk off the docks and you see a castle ahead of you. Karnors. I did nothing but zone in. I can’t wait to actually group there. At 72 the front mobs were yellow.

If you go to the west of the docks, follow the path up the mountain, it goes from a nice green area with trees to a snow covered mountain. Follow the path a little longer and welcome to Terens (I think its terens grasp, but don’t quote me) a nice little city. If you look up, you can see the city is built at the base of the wizards spires. You have all tradeskill merchants and machines. You have a class trainer for each class. A bank/broker and so forth. Nice little town. One thing. You need to build faction. Do the quests at the docks. Its beta, so there was a beta buff faction merchant there, so I have no idea how many quests are needed, but there you go.

After that I went and wandered around a little bit. Gained 1aa plus 20% more. And around 40% into level 72 in one night. Now the Xp is worth more on beta server, but to me thinks it’s still quick, we shall see how that plays out on live.

Let’s see. The exploration was cool, as far as I made it. I got discovery for Skyfire Mountains. It looked awesome, but I turned the other way, lol. I ran into a fort where it looked like Droags and humans fighting each other. Constantly. The droags would fly down and attack the men guarding the fort. I did notice a couple dragon corpses lying around. They looked pretty cool. And big. And they still had their scales. It wasn’t bone dragons. I think I found the old Lake of Ill Omen and Fiorina Vie. At least that’s what I deduced. I could be wrong.

Faction is going to be big, big, big. One thing I noticed is that faction is playing a huge role in this expansion. Watch it closely.

Okay, I think that’s it for now. Waiting on my character copies to check tradeskills. You need to be level 20 and have selected your TS class before the TS buffer will beta buff you. I don’t feel like fudging around with that atm. Then again, I may change my mind and grab some supplies and craft in good old Terens.

RoK - Day 2

Yay, Krys finally transferred over. This made so much of a difference. I don’t particularly care for the sarnaks; there movement doesn’t suit me very well, so having Krys and her carpet back really made it much easier for me. I had a better idea of what to do/expect so I change my way around a tad. I am feeling a lot less lost and I think I am getting a good grasp on Kylong.

First off, I had to pick my new racial traits. Being a Dark Elf, I received a feather fall type buff (no falling damage, weeeeeeeeeeeee) and then I received a nice buff that increases damage, casting time, reuse time, and I think recovery time at 10% each.

Next I had to find my way to Kylong from Neriak. The docks in Commonlands and Antonica are where you need to go to get to Kylong. Woohoo, another boat ride =/

I land at the docks. First thing is first, beta buff Sage level 80. That is all I did on the tradeskill front. I will be working on those this weekend, as I will have more time. I can stay logged in all day long and play when I need a break or if the boys are outside running around.

I also have to make a stop at the faction beta buffer. Nice guy that he is makes me ally to Terens Grasp residents. Very nice.

This time, I went ahead and ran about 15 quests off the docks of Kylong. Bound and determined to get the Sorkorko (eek, I think that totally spelled wrong) travel quests finished first. Now here is where I got confused, just FYI, for future reference. You have to bind you Sork to each of the monuments before you can fly to it. So exploring areas will be a damn good thing to do.

After I finished the quests, I decided to explore, with a little more tactical precision than I had last night. Kylong Plains is huge and requires the map to turn over 3 times. As I know where the map splits I tried to stay in that one area till it was all clear and move to the next split. The first map portion covers the docks you zone in from, Karnors Castle area, a giant’s area, a wurm area, and a few places of old reminiscence. I actually had discovery for Firionas Vista. I decided to head to the east this time. As I crossed this wonderful bridge over a huge ravine of water, the map switches over to an area of drovlags, Iskar skeletons, and several other familiar mobs of old. I did happen to come across a named level 83 epic X4 in this first area.

I continued on, hitting every inch of the map. The final place that I ended up in was very much like the old Lake of Ill Omen. There are Iskar statues all around the lake front. A tower in the middle of aggro mobs that has a merchant and several quests, and I dead ended at a sork monolith. /cheers. I fly back to the docks and make my way west.

West is where you will find Terens Grasp in the snowy mountains. I continue on my path through the frozen tundra, past yeti’s, up the mountain and slowly back down the mountain. I end up coming out of the mountains into an area that looks like, well no other way to put this, burned woods. lol. Now I have two choices, go into the woods or take a right and traverse back up the mountain. I decided to head back up.

I make it through another yeti camp, and then come upon a small giant fort. Giants see invis, just FYI. I kill my way through here, the giants range from 67-70 and the mountain path climbs back down. The map flips back over to the first map with the docks. I turn around and head back to the woods.

There is a scar like marking in the land, and it’s actually deep enough you can wander into it and fight mobs. It splits this map into two and made for an easy exploration route. I travel on the west side of the scar first, and run into some wurms (uh, see invis), treants, old chardok style goblins, and of course more sarnaks. And the zone line for Jarseth Wastes. This is at the top left of the map. I continue my way to the east, following the top of the map and run into a ton more Chardok style goblins.

Follow the path north and what looks like might be another zone line. Lo and behold it is a zone line to, ba ba buh bummmmmmm, Chardok. lol. I zoned in for about 1 minute, thinking it would be a dungeon, possibly instanced. Um, wrong. The first thing I see is a sork monolith. Nice, hit that one. I then traveled further in. Pulled up my map and there is one. I don’t think is necessarily an overland zone, as much as an inside a mountain kind of type zone. Hard to explain without exploring it, which I may do tonight.

As I finish up the third and final map for Kylong I come across another giant area with a giant pit to fall into. That looks like fun. I hit evac to the docks and make my way back to Terens to camp, and the subject of harvestables comes up in chat, and the fact that there are too few. I make a few comments regarding my army of crafters and how difficult is going to be to level them all up with the lack of harvest spawns, I receive a tell from a very nice lady talking about everything, come to find out, I am speaking with Niami. The DenMother herself. It was very nice talking to her, and I hope I get to speak with her again over the next couple weeks.

Well that is it for now. Hopefully I will be able to get some more things going tonight and explore more, or maybe even craft. J

Aha, I remembered one more thing, AA’s. You cannot spend any AA point above 100 until you ding 71. Now hopefully this will change, but I think that may make a lot of people unhappy. At least it did me.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, Scott said he spoke with the Union Steward last night and this isnt a permanent closing of 3rd shift. Its a temporary shutdown. How nice is that? Makes you ponder the big question. Do you look for a job while shutdown, or do you sit on your duff and pray they call you back?

How Fun!! /sarcasm off

10-30-07 - EQ

Been having fun. Started running with Borracho and Delusions almost every night.

Lets see, heres the character list.

Krystalea - 70 wizard 70 sage 320 transmuting 100 aa's
Zymeria - 70 defiler 70 provisioner 350 tinkerer 78 aa's
Arzania - 70 swashy 70 woodworker 98 aa's
Myrinna - 38 conjy 70 weaponsmith
Zephina - 7 bruiser 70 jeweler
Attalyne - 26 troub 70 carpenter
Vizera - 23 warlock 20 alchemist

Pardom my lack of capitialization for class/tradeskill names. As far as aa's for the last four, I have no idea, don't really pay much attention to that, as they are not really played all that often and its usually to tradeskill not adventure.

No goals set for them anymore. If they make it anywhere above what I have now, thats all the better, otherwise I am happy with it.

Okay I lied, I really would like Krys to get to 350 transmuting. /nods. I need about, uh, 15pp to do it. /nods. I need to farm, rofl.

10-30-07 v3.0

Articles I have come accross.

http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071030/AUTO01/710300398

Okay, nothing in there about the Compass, Patriot or the Caliber, but it does show cutting about 1000 contract positions. Hmmm??

http://www.wifr.com/home/headlines/10856221.html

Hey, I totally understand the position you are in, but I have one question. We knew it was temp, but we all prayed with everything we had that it would become perm. So here is my question: Why on God's green earth would you purchase a house while being temporarly employed? Yes, we all though we would become permanant, but really, you couldnt have waited 2 years to find out for sure?

Sorry just had to get that out.

Chrysler LLC plans to end the third shift at its Belvidere assembly plant, which could put as many as 1,000 employees out of work, a high-level United Auto Workers official told stunned members Friday.
Chrysler would not confirm the report, but rumors have been circulating for weeks that the third shift, added in July 2006, would end by Christmas. Union officials typically are advised of such plans before company announcements to workers.
A worker who attended the meeting said Garry Mason, an executive assistant to UAW President Ron Gettelfinger, shocked them by saying that sluggish sales of the three vehicles built at Belvidere -- Dodge Caliber and Jeep Compass and Patriot -- meant "the third shift was gone," as if that news was common knowledge.
There was a gasp in the room," said the worker, who asked not to be named. "Everyone was like, 'Huh?' This was the first time there had been anything official about it. It was a real eye-opener."
Another Local 1268 member who was at the meeting said Mason displayed "a deer in the headlights look" when he realized they hadn't been told. Both workers said Mason didn't say when the shift would end or how many workers would be affected. "
After that, he backpedaled and just changed the subject and talked about why the contract is so good," one said. "He just kept avoiding the subject."
Mason's statement about the third shift appeared first on a Web site forum maintained by Local 1268 members.

That pasted horribly. I dont have access to the Trib, but I copied the link as well if you want to sign up, but I found it interesting. We shall see.

10-30-07 v2.0

I won the contest at Alla's and received my beta key.

I will make posts on it, with my impressions, but unforunately I will not be able to publish them until the NDA is lifted.

10-30-07

Hello. Been a long time, yes?

Life is going as usual. Well almost. We are on the verge of falling back down, but not entirely. Scott's job may be in jeopardy, so we are doing what we can to prepare for the downfall, but not so much until it is officially announced. So we shall see what happens. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Here's a story and I really need to get this out as it has been in my head for quite a while now.

January 2003: The last week of the month, Scott (Tool and Die tradesmen) gets sent home. His hands look like they had been dipped in a vat of acid. Its horrible. He hurts. He cant put his hands in water of any temp, but cool/cold is the one that hurts the least. I am 6 months pregnant.

February 2003: File for Workman's comp and find a lawyer. By the end of Feb we still haven't seen a check and its starting to hurt.

May 2003: Scott is told to return to work on the 19th. By the 21st he is sent back home. Hands are back to square one. Nathan is born on the 22nd.

June 2003-July 2004: Work with lawyer on getting everything set up, payments are coming just very sporadic. We get a monthly check, or a bimonthly check, hell we sometimes end up with a two week check. Makes for paying the bills oh so much fun.

Aug 2004: Workman's comp says you last payment was in July, we are sorry you misinterpreted our letter, but in layman's you are now released to look for a job and no more money for you.

Oct 2004: Settled. Received settlement check. Yay! Pay off my car, a few other bills and sock the rest away.

Apr 2005: Woot. Scott finally found a job. (Yes 8 months later, and no money inc. Good thing I socked some of that money away.)

Apr05-Apr06: Struggle with bills, as our savings is depleted. Scott is only making $8/hr and it is rough.

April 2006: Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scott got a job at Chrysler. That is the place to be. And its permanent too. OMG. His first paycheck with 3 1/2 weeks pay at his previous place of employment.

May 2006: Chrysler says, "We lied." Sign this 2 yr temporary contract or lose your job. That's okay we say. We can do what we need to in the next 2 years. Hopefully.

Aug/Sept 2007: Rumors start flying as the national contract is up. The rumors are the ETE's (Scott's formal position) will be hired.

Right here......this is where it all goes to hell. GM gets their contract that says temps will be hired. Woohoo. Scott and I finally let ourselves down in the respect of money, and start talking about fixing up the house, and possibly getting it ready to be put on the market. 5 years is our goal. We talk about the vacations we will be able to have, everything. We actually start to dream about the future.

Oct 2007: Contract signed for Chrysler. No temp to perm status ever mentioned. Then it starts. The rumors of the parts suppliers being told that 3rd shift is getting cut on Christmas Eve. Now the rumors are ETE's and then the extra 400 more will be let go, starting around Nov 15 through the end of the year and 3rd shift gone.

We knew it was temporary, but howdy fuck you. It was nice not having to worry about money for a damned change. It was nice being able to go out to dinner on occasion, let the boys go and do fun stuff. Not ever having to see the look on their face when you tell them you would love to do this, that or the other but you cant because we have stinking money.

Scott has a horrible time finding jobs with the tool and die maker label on there. No one wants to hire him because they feel he will leave if he finds a job back in the skilled trades line. He even tells them, I cannot go back into tool and die, I have psoriasis now and I cant work in the fluids. Doesn't matter.

It was a 2 yr contract, we are only 18 months in. The UAW or Chrysler should at least confirm or deny the rumors. Tell us the damned truth. Don't lie to us anymore. We were prepared for the boot at 2yrs. Not now. We were also hoping for a perm position after two years. Especially if 3rd was being kept open. Just confirm/deny something please. Let us know. I hate living like this.

And pray that my husband can find a decent job quickly after he has been let go. $14/hr to stay with what we have. And that will not allow us to go out to eat or anything like that. I have one out and that's the truck we purchased after Scott started at Chrysler. Got it at my work. Paid $16k for it. It was worth (blue book person to person value $20k) I owe $11.5k on it, and blue book shows $17.5k value. I really don't want to sell that truck. I hope for everything we have one of three things happens. He gets perm at Chrysler (on the line), he gets perm at Chrysler (non core), or he finds a damn decent retire from job, within a month of lay off.

For the love of all that is holy, don't make me go through hell again. Please?

I really need to update this...so that will be my goal for tomorrow :)

It has color and a vegetable

This morning on the way to the sitters, Nathan pipes up from the back seat. "Mama, I want to hear the green beans." The green beans????

"Nathan, do you mean the Black Eyed Peas?"

"Yeah mama, thats it!"

09-17-07

Sometimes figuring out what to write is not as easy as it seems. I have been going through a lot this past week. I need to do a lot of changing and I will start a little at a time. I know (read: hope) that it will happen, and I don’t expect miracles.

Let’s start easy.

Trenton

He is doing okay. He is having issues at school. Issues like not being able to keep his mouth shut, lol. Those were also my issues in school. He is having a blast everywhere though. Constantly out playing, or in playing video games, usually with Andrew. He is doing well. He did lose his scooter though. He left it in the street and Terry about ran it over, so he got in trouble and can’t have it back until this weekend.

Nathan

Oh dear, where to even start with Nathan. They changed his school. They moved him from the actual pre-school to an elementary school that has one, yes one, pre-school class. He is having a little trouble with the drop off, doesn’t want to leave his friends at Parker. Otherwise it seems to be okay. Wow, that really didn’t take much to explain, although it had me up and down for over three days.

His speech is still greatly improving. He can say his “f” sound 90% of the time now, and his “s” sound is coming along nicely. If the word ends with an “s” then he nails it about every time. If the word begins with an “s” then he gets it about 30% of the time, much better.

Scott

Scott is, well, Scott. He is taking a little bit to get used to the school sleep schedule but all is going well on his end. He is counting down the days until his vacation in October.

Me

Well, we all knew it was coming at some point. I have to work on taking better care of myself. My blood pressure is astronomically high for being 32 years old. Both my parents have HBP and I had it when I was pregnant (which makes it a predictor for me) and well, lets just say I had a hard time coming to terms with all this last week.

I had an actual panic attack, where I actually thought that I was having a heart attack. It was not very much fun, but I have calmed down a lot and actually the only thinking about it this weekend was yesterday when I was making a ton of breads and muffins, and I overate. That’s okay; I will be back on the ball again this morning. I think I may start a private blog just so I can track my eating and exercising, plus my weight and blood pressure if I get it taken.

I also signed up on a website, The Daily Plate, and have been trying to keep track that way, but I forgot this weekend, so again I will start up today, and go on. The thing about changing yourself is that it is hard, and I am not going to berate myself for forgetting one day or so, and just going to start all over again. They say it takes a month to make a habit, well dammit that’s a long time.

So that’s life in my household at the moment. It’s a rough road on occasion but we will survive. /nod

EQUpate

I haven’t really been doing much in EQ. It is getting very hard to find a group especially with Arzania. She has dinged 64, just 6 more levels to go and I will be there, but hell, at the rate I am going, it might not happen before the expansion, gah. She dinged AA 86 last night as well. Go Arzania.

I need to get Krys to AA 100 as she is only 19% away from it. I need to sit and bust out a lot of food on Zymeria so I can make some money. Everyone is level 70 Tradeskiller except Arz, but she is level 60 and I plan to start working on her this week. I just need to harvest a few pelts. I will do that on Krys, so I don’t have to fight anything.

LoN held my attention all last week, but I am actually getting annoyed by it, I need a break, as I played it all. the. time. So there! =p

08-24-07

I forgot to talk about Legends of Norrath, although I really have nothing to discuss about it, but am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I think it will be a fun little thing to do on occasion. Now that I have said that, I will probably end up being totally addicted to the damn thing.

I have tried to read the boards, but in order for me to learn something, I actually have to do it. Once I have done it, I can read the boards to learn the finer points and such.

At this point, I am awaiting LoN's arrival and am curious on one point. It says you can loot booster packs. Now, is that body loot or chest drop? If it's a chest drop, what kind of chest? I mean, if we are looking at only exquisite chests dropping booster packs, I think I would be better off just plunking down the $3 it costs.

8-23-07 - EQ2

Whoa its been awhile. Lets start with EQ shall we.

Krystalea.

You know I haven't really been playing Krys that much at all. Scott was able to find my Cruel Innovator's Ring for fairly cheap on the broker the other day and snatched that up for me. Woohoo, what a man! And last night, I was finally able to finish up the Mark of Awakened. Woot! So I am pretty much geared up the way my pocketbook will let me be and the way I want to. Now if I can save some money, maybe I can nab a couple fabled items.

Began working on Transmuting again the other day. Hit 307/350. If you ever even thought of Transmuting, run far far far away. I really do not like it. Bleh =/

Zymeria.

Well since they are now letting us sell from every character, the only thing I have really done with Zymeria is make and sell food. Very lucrative. I need to spend oodles of time just making stuff. I need Money. /nod

Arzania.

Wouldn't you know it? She hit level 59 Swashbuckler yesterday and level 55 Woodworker. And I have 74 aa's. I am done pushing on aa's now. With SoE not adding any aa levels with RoK, I just cant push that hard anymore. Although, I have the quest lines in Loping to do, the ones in TT, SoS, New Tunaria, Barren Sky and Bonemire, and a few left in Lfay as well. Zones to visit yet: SoS, Barren Sky, The Nest, PoA, Vaults, Bonemire, HoF, The Den, Sepulcher, Loping Plains, Kaladim, Acadechism, Crypt, Oob, Unrest, Mistmoore catacombs, Mistmoore Castle, the majority of Tunaria (only been up to the big tree) and of course any and all raid zones.

I am seriously thinking, I may hit 100 without even pushing. Think of all the names, quests, and disco XP I have yet to get. Nice =)

Myrinna.

Hit 70 Weaponsmith. The new tradeskill writs that grant XP are awesome. Love it. I may start to play her a little more. I looked and I think she only has around 5% to ding 38, /sigh.

Attalyne.

Nothing. Made some furniture to sell, that's just not selling, lol.

Zephina.

Nothing there either.

Vizera.

Nope, not a damn thing.

So as you can see, I have been pushing Arzania hard the past couple weeks. I am getting to the point of being bored, lol, and Arz changes that for me. Now as soon as I hit 60, I am aiming for a group in SoS. /nod

7-23-07 EQ

Even though it is not the end of July yet, lets see where we stand with my goals, shall we.

Attalyne to 70 Carpenter - Ding Ding, we have met this goal!!
Myrinna to 62 Weaponsmith - Just dinged 61 last night.
Arzania to 50 Woodworker - Dinged 46 last night. No vitality though =/
Arzania to 45 Swashy - I really surpassed this. She is level 50 with 59 aa's =)
Vizera to 30 Warlock - Havent even touched her. =(
Krys to aa 96 - Um, ya. I am 20% away from dinging aa 98.
Krys to 310/350 Transmuting. - Sitting at 304/350. Need to farm either items or money. Or both =/

Not too bad, and I still have 8 days to go. =)

07-23-07

Hey hey!! Hehe. Life has just been so normal and nonchalant, I have had nothing to write about as of late. But we were on vacation last week, and it was very very fun.

Sunday the boys went to see Transformers. They said it was very good. All I now know is that Scott wants the new Camaro in yellow, lol. It said it was very sharp.

Monday night, we went to see the Rockford Riverhawks play. The boys were just absolutely entranced to see a real live baseball game. Was the most amazing. Trenton was getting all into it, learning that cheering and yelling were not a bad thing to do at a ball game.

Wednesday we went to Magic Waters. The boys had a blast and made me go down this water roller coaster ride. Never again, thank you very much. lol. I just don't do things like that. We spent all day there and then went out to dinner and window shopping. Got home just in time that night to watch the wonderful storms come in.

Scott and I took Thursday off from doing anything at all. Magic Waters had worn us out, lol.

Friday we went fishing and then went and seen Ratatouille. I thought that movie was really cute. And then on Saturday we went and seen The Fantastic Four, good movie as well, but I really wish the chase seen with Johnny and the Silver Surfer would have been better. Overall it was good.

And now I am back at work, bleh. I really need to win the lottery so I can stay at home. =)

07-03-07

We went fishing yesterday. It was fun. =) Just me and the boys and my dad. Went on the boat out to Rock Cut. Ya, we decided that rock cut sucks ass for fishing, at least on Sunday before the 4th of July.

Other than that nothing much going on at all. Its summer and the boys are just running around, playing. That is about all we have been doing.

EQUpdate: Attalyne hit 70 carpenter this weekend. Myrinna is 59.5 weaponsmith now. ummmm, Arzania hit level 37.

Tuesday, June 26, 2007

06-26-07

Lets Review:

Attalyne to 70 Carpenter.
Myrinna to 60 Weaponsmith.
Arzania to 45 Woodworker.
Arzania to level 40 Swashy.
Krys to around 93 aa's.
Krys into T7 transmuting.
Zymeria to 350 tinkering.

Those were my goals for the end of June. Well with only 4 days of the month left, lets see where I am at right now.

Attalyne is level 68.25.
Myrinna is level 57.5.
Arzania is 41 Woodworker.
Arzania is only a level 37 Swashy.
Krys is at aa 95 with 20% into it.
Krys is 300/350 for transmuting.
Zymeria is 350/350 Tinkering.

Woot.

So lets come up with some goals for July.

Attalyne to 70 Carpenter
Myrinna to 62 Weaponsmith
Arzania to 50 Woodworker
Arzania to 45 Swashy
Vizera to 30 Warlock
Krys to aa 96
Krys to 310/350 Transmuting.

Sounds good to me.

06-18-07

Lets see.

Nothing much going on. We had Brendon and Sarah over for dinner on Saturday. That was fun. It was so nice to see Elizabeth open and running and playing with the boys. No more shyness. At least not at our house.

My garden is doing good finally. My sunflowers are growing fast, and I have one pumpkin left (damn bunnies). My tomato plants all have little yellow flowers on them, my onions just took off. I planted some more flowers in the front gardens (thanks again bunnies and earwigs). And with all the rain yesterday, stuff just sprung up overnight. It was really cool.

EQland:

Krys is 70% through aa 93. Pretty good I say. Transmuting at 287/350. Getting there. Also *sings* I got my hat!!! I got my hat!!! 6 of 7 pieces of Al'kabors is now equipped, woohoo. Just have them damn legs to get now. /sigh

Arzania dinged 40 woodworker and 35 swashy.

And I think that is about it. /sigh Not a very productive week, lol.

6-11-07

Well you will never believe if I tell ya. But you are going to have to. We built 3 gardens over the past week and a half. Two are in front, about 12'X5' and 16'X5' and the one in back is about 17'X5'. The ones is front already had the retaining walls built on them, and the little one already had the dirt.

So the little one was easy. Terry next door was thinning out one of her 14 gardens (no exaggeration) and brought over a bunch of stuff for the one.

I started working on the second one, and had to pull these humongous weeds out. I actually had to use a regular size shovel to dig the roots out of this side. So I did that and then Scott went and got more dirt and we filled that in. We planted flowers from seeds over there, and I am patiently (more on that in a minute) waiting for them to grow.

The third garden is in back, and it is going to be my vegetable garden. We had to start that one from scratch. Fortunately, Mike next door, had a tiller and we were able to just till the grass up in that spot. Then Scott laid out railroad ties for the boundaries and we had to fill with dirt.

Now the garden (flower bed?) up front, my little seedlings started to produce tiny little sprouts as of this weekend. Yay!! It is so cool, being able to see these things grow. The garden in back, I placed vegetables. Now seeing it is kinda late in the planting season, I purchased started tomato and pepper plants. Three tomato, 2 green pepper and 2 red pepper plants. I also purchased a watermelon, just to see what would happen and a grape vine for the same reason. I did buy some seedlings. Carrots and green onions (I have ideas on how to run these next year) and then I had to do sunflowers. I think the carrots and green onions are just about to pop through, I could see two baby baby plants kinda pushing up last night. Now the sunflowers. 7 of my 10 have popped through, and it is the neatest thing. It is so cool to see this stuff growing. Whats funny about the sunflowers, is the little spudlings where popping up with the seed casings stuck on the leaves, hehe.

Scotts computer died. The motherboard fried. Not surprising considering the overheating problems we have been having. So Scott built frakenputer with the two computers (the one that died and my old one). He hopes to get a new one this winter. We shall see. The only is the old motherboard would not take the new hard drive, so we have to see if it will work on my new computer, and I will use it as a slave drive. I would not be so concerned if Scott had not just ripped all our cd's onto it, and then all our pictures are on it. bah.

EQLand:

Krys is 10% from hitting aa93. And...............She finally got the head out of Unrest. WOoHOO!!!!!! 6 piece bonus baby.

Zymeria hit 350 Tinkering, thank god.

Arzania just hit 37 woodworker and my new little one Vizera hit level 18 with 11 aa's.

Cool!!

EQ 06-08-07

Krystalea

Okay lets see. Hit 92.5 aa's. Not really pushing anymore. 34% a week is what it will take for me to 100 by the time the expansion comes out. Although Scott and I found a nice place to goof off, get a named and we earned darn good XP. ^^^ drakes, and seeing they are not casters, I can solo, so I may hang out there on occasion.

My transmuting is now at 285/350. I can't wait to be out of T6. I just cant wait to be done with it totally. I was in a crafting mood, and I am starting to fall out of it. So hopefully I will get back to it, getting so close to my goals on it.

Still trying to get a Castle group for my legs, or an Unrest group (only have certain times to play) for my hat. One day.

Zymeria

Well I busted out my tinkering tools. 259/350. What really pisses me off about this is when I hit 250 I thought hooray into T6 (which I have a ton of loams for) and it was 10 more skillups of T5 crap. Bah I say. Ran out of money so stuck there for a little bit. =( Otherwise I have not been playing her hardly at all.

Arzania

Level 34 swashy now with 27 aa's. Also 36 Woodworker. My goal is too have her to 45 or so by the end of June and hopefully to 60 at the end of July. That leaves a couple months of just hanging out. hehe. When it comes to all these tradeskills, I just want them out of the way, so that the last two months or so before the expansion I can build my bank account up and get prepared.

Myrinna

Adventure level still the same. Weaponsmith at 56. Goal is 60 or better at the end of the month.

Attalyne

Carpenter level still 65. Goal 70 by the end of the month.

Zephina

She's 70 Jeweler, have no intention of leveling her adventuring side atm.

Vizera

Oh my new little Arasai. I decided not to make a sarnak and make an Arasai. I played her for a little bit last night. OMG Darklight woods little newbie area is a perfect area for shineys. Yay!! I had fun. I think she is level 6 now, lol. I haven't decided if I want to tradeskill her or not. I do not know yet. After I get all of the others to 70 I probably will. I have a feeling if I don't start her before the expansion, she will probably get started after the expansion.

So my goals for the end of June are:

Attalyne to 70 Carpenter.
Myrinna to 60 Weaponsmith.
Arzania to 45 Woodworker.
Arzania to level 40 Swashy.
Krys to around 93 aa's.
Krys into T7 transmuting.
Zymeria to 350 tinkering.

Bullets

- The Young at Heart Fair (including Fireworks)

This was awesome. The boys had so much fun. They rode too many rides, played too many games, and had too much fun. Trenton also found out that he is big enough for all the rides now, even though I don't think I am ready for it. LOL.

- My night on Friday.

Friday night was awesome. The boys went to Scott's mom's house. So it was just Scott and I. I get home from work, and Scott has steaks cooking on the grill, salads ready and Julienne Au gratin potatoes. Oh my. When dinner was ready we turned on the movie "Pursuit of Happyness" That was a very good movie. Made me cry. After that, we went for a walk up to Dairy Depot, where I proceeded to enjoy a Strawberry Cheesecake Sundae, with no little ones to steal it from me. It was most definitely a very very nice night. I loved it.

- Trenton and his need for trouble. WTF?

Trenton was doing so well to boot. He had had a wonderful weekend. Everything was good, the fair, fireworks, spending the night and grandma's, and the grandma's and grandpa's. So why did he do it? Why did he bite Nathan? Why in holy hell did he bite Nathan in the penis? TELL ME!! I have no idea, but let me tell you. That child felt the wrath of Mama. I did not hit him, or put him in a corner or anything of the like, but he knew, he knew he was in sooo much trouble. He couldn't see straight. At any rate, he now knows the errors of his ways and will never do that again.

Nathan, btw, is just fine. It was through his jeans. I shudder to think if he was wearing just those thin shorts what would have happened.

- Krys moved to Neriak

I moved. I did the citizenship quest. Quick and easy, toured the city. Neriak is awesome. I love it. The minute I zoned in, I knew I was going to move. I had been teetering on the edge of not being sure. But hell, the zone is awesome. I think the crafting area was the all around deciding factor.

- Krys works on her new home.

I purchased myself a new home. Gotta love it. I think the address is 8 Walk of the Dead way. So I moved from a three room in Freeport, to a 5 room (6 if you count the foyer) house in Neriak. All my stuff basically fit in 2 rooms. I am going to have to make/buy more stuff. So far I have my bedroom done, save 2 items, and the library done, save two items (that was the stuff I had plenty of, lol). I started working on the dining room. I had to buy stuff for that. I would say it is 1/2 way done. I was going to buy the carbonite sconces I wanted for the hallways. T3 you would think would be cheap, hell on the broker for 34g. !5 of them, the number I want. 5 for each hallway. So now I get to make them. Then I will do an alter room, right next to the library. (which are both upstairs). The bedroom is the basement. Then next to the dining room, I will do a living room. Going to rig up a couch and such. A small fireplace. (I have will have one in every room) The the foyer, some ideas swirling around in my head for that. I hope it comes together soon. =)

- That's about it. I think.

There coming

The locusts are coming!! The locusts are coming!!!!

=)

5-21-07 EQUpdate

Krystalea: Lets see. 269/350 Transmuting now. And I think that's about it on her. Although I did hit 89 aa's, and about halfway through that one. The thing that sucks about the Transmuting, is I can now farm the T6 stuff, but seeing as the mobs are green, the armor drops are in the 50's but the stinking adept books are, well, 60. So I have decided to just sell all that I can't transmute and spend 3/4 of the money on buying stuff I can. Just want to be in T7 and then the trans should move nicely on that. =)

Zymeria: Finished up the hat quest. Sitting at 72 aa's now. Defiler tree is filled out the way I want, now I don't know what I want to do with the shaman tree, lol. I just can't decide. Tinkering is now at 203/350. I really really hate loams.

Myrinna: Hit 53 weaponsmith.

Zephina: Nothing there. I may decide to play her, I don't know yet. Too busy with my others.

Attalyne: Hit 65 Carpenter. No more rush on her. She will get 70 by the expansion with just a few combines a week. One day a week at lunch and she is done.

Arzania: Hit 32 woodworker. But, I have been playing her and having a really good time at it. She is now level 31, and about to ding 32. She has 21 aa's, which I just figured out one tree to spend on, lol. Still have no idea where to go after that. But I am enjoying playing her. Right now I want to play her hard and see where I end up. But we all know my streaks, and this could be one of them, where I play her for two weeks and then she doesn't see the light of day until the next expansion.

RoK: I am still really really stoked about this expansion. I just need to figure out a class to play. I really am thinking of making a tank this time around. I don't have one of those, so we shall see. As for the tradeskill class, I have no stinking clue. Only thing left between me, Scott, and Modex is an armorer. And Scott said he was going to start working on his as he is T4 I think. /shrugs. If he does that I may just go alchemist, so I don't have to grind so stinking hard.

5-21-07

No more titles. Just the date only, heh.

Been a while. Lets see what I can come up with.

Mothers Day weekend went well. We didn't do anything, much. Took my mom out to breakfast. I didn't get any cards or anything. =(

Although, that Friday prior, I thought my video card had died. My monitor started acting all goofy. Lines and blacking out and such. So, I hooked it up to Scott's machine and seemed to be working fine. So we went out and purchased a 512 video card. Woohoo. Really nice picture. But as I was playing, you could see where portions of the monitor were a little dim. I was thinking that was odd. Brand new video card, picture should totally be crisp and clear. Well, the next morning, my monitor crapped out. The thing is only 5 months old. So as we stand now, my monitor should be delivered today to the company and I am using a old 17" CRT monitor and its disgusting, rofl. So used to my 19" wide flat screen. /sigh

Normal week this week. Been nice outside, so I have been sending the boys outside to play well I spring cleaned the house. Well now that I think about it. It wasn't a normal week after all. I spring cleaned because it was needed, but also because of the fact that Nathan's Birthday party was this weekend.

Anyways, I took Thursday and Friday off, and that was absolutely wonderful. I didn't do anything. Okay I lied. I played EQ for several afternoons and then took a couple naps, hehe. It was so nice. Friday was my birthday, and Scott let me sleep in. He got Trenton ready for school and took Nathan to daycare. It was so very nice.

Speaking of Nathan. His party was Sunday and he made out fairly well. Grandma made a Spiderman cake. That was really cool. She also brought me a gift, which was the silicon baking set, five pans, and then a bundt cake pan. So cool. I have to make a cake this weekend. =) Anyways, Nathan got quit a few gifts, almost all related to spiderman, and they had a friend to play with, so we rarely saw them except at cake and ice cream, and present time, lol.

Nathan also had one really bad incident yesterday. Poor guy. They were across the street playing, when I hear a little boy crying and Trenton was helping him across the street. I come running out to see what was wrong and Trenton yells Nathan got stung by a bee. Oh shit, was the first thing that came to my mind. So I forcibly set the poor child on the ground and rip off his sock and shoe (he got stung on the ankle). Well first thing I noticed (or two things at once) no stinger and he was stung twice. After my initial, I don't need to call 911 for an allergic reaction, I calmed down, took him inside and we got him all fixed up. Turns out, it is a wasp sting. Bugger nailed him twice as well. Poor little guy =(

And now here we are at Monday. Gonna run the EQUpdate on a separate post, as I sure this one is very long by now, rofl. I have to run to Nathans school today for portfolio day. Will be very fun I believe.

Catch Up

Life in Krys's Household.

Trenton: I believe has finally learned to ride a bike. Yay. But he still has problems with starting and stopping, so we will see how that goes. He had a really hard time with it. The thing with Trenton is, well, he is hard to describe. He is a follower and not a leader and he really doesn't have a lot of self confidence. For him to try anything you almost always get the I cant do it whine. I try really hard to boost him up, I also do little things, like make him look around him when walking, instead of the ground. I always say hi to people we pass hoping he will pick up on that as well. Its funny, when he finally does get something, he gets really really excited. I wish he had more self confidence.

Trenton is also getting on my last nerve when it comes to sleeping arrangements. He has never been a good sleeper, and he especially likes to sleep next to someone. Which I don't mind. He starts in his bed, and always ends in mine. Fine. But the other night was the last stinking straw ever. He refused (outright refused) to sleep in his bed. So to just get him to sleep, I laid him down in the backroom, until Scott got up for work, and sent him into my bed. At 3:00am he woke up, and started throwing a hissy fit because Nathan had crawled into bed and was next to me and Trenton was not. Seriously, major fucking meltdown. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. After that and the arguments, he lost his privilege of sleeping in my bed. That was hard for him to handle last night. But in the end he survived and got a good nights sleep.

Nathan: Nathan is, well, Nathan. He is just the happiest go lucky kid. Very confident, and knows what he wants. And what he wants is anything to with baseball. OMG. The boy could play baseball approx 5-6 hours a day. I cant. And that just drives him bonkers.

He made me the cutest little present for Mothers Day at school the other day. Its a Popsicle picture frame. It has his picture in it (of course) and then glues on the Popsicle sticks are little buttons, and then at the bottom it says "I know how to push your buttons" LOL

Scott and I are doing really well. We are getting our tree in the back topped off and trimmed, hopefully to bring it back to life. The tree guy is going to take 40ft off the top of the tree. And I don't think that is half of the trees height. Bah. This month is busy busy. We have Mothers Day, my birthday, Nathans birthday, Memorial Day, and of course the Young at Heart fair. Yay.

EQLand: Got through HoF with Zymeria last night for hat updates. That's about it. =)

The Most Wonderful Pic

Of Nathan Ever.

EQland

Been a while so EQ first.

Krystalea has now gotten her transmuting up to 215 I believe it is. I still have quite a few combines to go, but I am lacking the ambition to tradeskill at the moment. She dinged 88 aa's and is halfway through it. I haven't touched a quest since I left Lfay about a month ago. I need to get back to that, now that the expansion has been somewhat announced. Also, I now have 5 pieces of my armor now. If I could get back to Unrest and Castle Mistmoore, I would have my chance at the rest of it.

Zymeria dinged 71 aa's last night. That finishes off the defiler tree and now I need to go back to the Shaman tree. I have no idea what I want to do there.

I started playing my little fae swashy again. I got her up to level 26 and with 14 aa's. I think what I may do is betray her from Kelethin to Neriak when that opens up and make her a brigand, as opposed to creating an Arsani, I know that is spelled wrong. But that is my plan I believe.

Nothing in tradeskills. Like I said I have had zero desire to do that as of the past few weeks.

The Guild will more than likely ding 27 with this writ night. Those are fun, especially when you get several people together and just massively maim, maul, and slaughter the mobs. When the guild hits level 30 and I can purchase the 5 room house, I may (not entirely positive) move Krys to Neriak as well. It depends.

Rise of Kunark. I am soooo excited. Epic weapons, the return of Sebilis and City of Mist. Yay. Guild levels and Class levels up to 80. A new mount, the rhino. What really intrigues me, if I am reading this correctly, is that you have the new starting city for the sarnak, which is Tim Deep, and that is level 1-20, then to progress you need to move to old world or EoF to raise up your levels. So my thought is that this expansion will hopefully be mostly T7 and T8. How much is that going to rock?

Now the question remains. What adventure class and tradeskill class is my Sarnak going to be??

Ewwww

I am not your typical girly girl. I play video games, I only do my hair and makeup when the occasion calls for it, I like fishing, I like cars, and generally animals of any nature don't bother me. That is until last night. OMG.

I was getting ready to take a shower and was the clearing all the boys stuff out of the tub, when this huge ass centipede came running out. This thing was like 2 inches long. 4 billion legs. I screamed, and went running into the living room for Scott to save me. He was just sitting there, staring at me. I just turned, pointed my finger and said "Go kill it!!!"

That was not a pleasant shower to take, as all I did was look at the drain waiting for another creepy crawly to come out of it. When I get done with the shower, I go out and talk to Scott for a minute. I asked him why the hell he did not come running when I scream. I mean for the love of Pete, I don't scream that often, there is obviously something wrong. He said "Well, you never scream about crap like that, I just sat there in shock over the fact you were creeped out by a bug." /nods uh huh.

EQUpdate: Krys hit 217/350 in transmuting. Yay. Dinged aa 88 last night. I think that is all.

Quickie

My two boys. Nathan is in the red and Trenton the grey.

This is a picture from the trip to Galena. Trenton is in the middle.

EQUpdate: Krys got her forearms last night. 5 down, 2 to go. /cheers

I hate coming up with titles

We had a very good weekend. It started out a little slow, but really worked its way up. On Friday we didn't do much. Trenton had a dentist appointment which went very well. Although we no longer have insurance, Scott had them bill the insurance. Bah. Trenton's teeth are all nice and clean, and no cavities. Yay! I didn't need another $3k summer like last year. His enamel really sucks, so he has to be extra diligent when it comes to his teeth.

Saturday was the day. Nathan actually slept in, till 8:45. Which was good and bad. If we didn't have plans that would have rocked. But considering we should have been out of the house by 8:45, it kinda sucked. At any rate, we got up and headed out to Lori's. Nathan was going to see the horses and maybe even ride one. Oh dear me, lol. We got there and he just decided to play shy and it was really funny to watch him slowly start to warm up, but it was the horses that helped him to do that. He fed them carrots and he brushed them, and then he got to ride one. Oh my. He loved it. That's all he talked about the rest of the weekend.

We then came home to wanting to ride our bike and go go go. So we tried to go go go until I got tired. Not tired, as in wanting to take a nap, but physically tired. My legs hurt so bad, after walking around the farm, leading horses, and then having to come home and lead Nathan on the bike (so to speak). I hadn't sat down at all that day. So I made Nathan come in the bedroom and lay down with me and watch a movie. Mr. I Am Not Tired, fell asleep. It was a nice nap, lol.

Then Trenton and Scott came home. They had their trip to Galena with the boy scouts. Apparently they had a lot of fun and poor Scott had a lot of sun. He was really burnt. They didn't tell me much, well some. They had to walk a ton, and there was a parade and a water bucket race (/shrugs) and they ate constantly, and there were a ton of little shops that Scott wants to take me too, sans kids.

Lets see. We played outside a lot, enjoying the wonderful weather, and that's about it.

EQLand: Well Krys is almost through 87. Hoping to get back to Lfay tonight or tomorrow night. Have to wait for Val to get back on, he is on vacation. Got my gloves, ya baby. That's piece #4. I still need the legs, head, and forearms. Getting there. I now have 110 combines waiting on her for transmuting.

I played my swashy quite a bit. She is about 4% from dinging 26, lol. And she also dinged AA13 I think. Gotta love all these quests.

I think that is about it for now. :)

My Bike

This weekend, with the boys playing outside and it was so nice, Scott decided to clean out the garage. Mostly. Well in the process, all the boys (except Nathan) were riding bikes and poor Nathan was chasing after them, Scott found Trenton's old little bike and rolled it out into the front yard. Of course Nathan sees this and wants to ride it. I tell him that he cant just yet as we need to buy some training wheels for it so he doesn't fall, and then when he gets really good we can take the training wheels and he can ride it like that all he wants.

Of course, that made him very sad. A little while later Scott declares he has to run to the store for some things and he will be right back. About an hour later he gets home, and here Nathan is sitting next to me with this bike all sad that he cant ride it.

Well Scott comes over and asks what is wrong and I tell him the story and Nathan just continues to sit there and look sad. So Scott says, "Look at this Nathan." And out of his bag he pulls a set of training wheels. This child started jumping up and down and clapping and screaming. It was great. Now all I hear is about riding his bike and that's all he wants to do, and he is already getting really good at it. Yay!!

I bought new shows for the boys this weekend. They fit really well. So I thought. I had to go out and purchase another bigger shoe for Trenton last night. Will someone please tell these children to quit growing so fast!!

Monday night was kind of wild. I was driving home (had the truck) and some guy starts waving and motioning to roll my window down. He says my rear tire is going flat and that there is a gas station up the way. I tell him thank you and mention I live maybe 5 minutes from where we were and I would be good. Well I get into the turn lane at the next light and I swear I can hear the grind of metal. I make my turn and pull onto the side road, get out, and sure as shit the tire is flat as can be.

I hop back into the truck, call Scott, then call the Hospital to say Nathan is not going to make it and wait. When Scott gets there he gets going on changing the tire, and I decide to wait about 5 minutes before I have to leave and get Trenton from school. Good thing I did. There was no freaking jack in the truck. As a side note, we bought the truck were I work at about 6 months ago. So he gets in the car and we get Trenton, run by dad's work, grab his jack and precede back to the truck. After a little bit of trouble here and there, get the tire changed and start putting everything back where it belongs. Then I notice something really goofy. The tires on the truck are 17" and the spare is 16". Just lovely. As of now, the truck is still sitting in my service department, but should be done today. Lovely.

EQUpdate: Haven't been doing much. I think I updated everything on Monday for EQ. I did get krys to 86 aa's though. Met a very nice level 19 Wizard looking for advice the other night. A little too talkative (and for me, that is weird, considering how talkative I normally am).

We are talking about hitting X2 content, a couple people in Tears have hit 60 and with them, we can pull 2 full groups together. So we were thinking of the Silent City. If you have any ideas, please help me. :)

The guild dinged 26. And we are almost 30% through it now. I have been doing writs. I am also going to set up Guild Writ Night, at least once a week. I may do twice a week, not sure yet. I also set up a page on guild portal, but seeing I am at work, I am blocked from that site. I will get it linked up here in the next day or two.

Ugh

I have been so sick. Woke up on Wednesday morning with a fever that did not go away until Friday late afternoon. I am still feeling worn out. What really sucks about it, is that Wednesday was also my anniversary. 9 years. Scott and I have been married 9 years. Wow. Doesn't feel like it.

So, needless to say, I have not done much since last Wed. This weekend was beautiful and the boys played outside for the most part. I was feeling better, just needed several naps to make it through the weekend.

EQUpdate. Didn't do much here either. Lets see, Carpenter to level 64. Woodworker to level 32. Tinkering to 175/350 (halfway there, yay). We did try to go to Nizara on Saturday. Tough zone. We need to get more geared up, I believe. We also tried Nek3, which reminds I need to look for a cheat sheet, lol. Zym dinged AA 70. I think that's about it. Oh I spent all my money and purchased Vertabrack for Krys.

We did ding the guild level 26, and are now 24% through 26. We found that the writs in Kelethin (loping plains) run much quicker, and offer more status. Goal is level 30 and keep ticking. Running a couple nights a week, pulling done status for the guild and to see where we end up. :)

Title

Well its the different day, same crap. Not much going on around the homefront. The boys are being boys, and Scott and I are just working and following the kids. Although tonight we the book fair at Trenton's school. Lets see how expensive it is to get out of there. lol.

Not much happening in EQland either, but will do update.

Krys is about 11% from dinging AA 86. We are hoping to hit Nizara this Saturday and we shall see what happens there. Also, Wednesday, Modex and I have a date with a guild ally to finish up the quests in LFay. So that should net some XP. Been looking at my level 60 and above quest list I built, and still have lots to do to get those last 14. Now I just have to start on Zymeria, lol.

Zymeria dinged AA 69. Now I have one of Scotts characters to mentor in Steamfont, and Modex's character to mentor in LFay. So I will have to pick up quests from the 60 list (made a second one for Zymeria) and go from there.

Now, I started leveling my Fae some, and started with the BB line of quests. I think if I do her right, she should pretty much ding 100 at the same time as 70. That would be cool. =)

Tradeskills wise.

Krys now has 68 powders waiting to turn over into skill ups. Still sitting at 185/350. Got to thinking, that when I ding that elusive 350, I should build up another 100 combines in the bank for when they raise the level cap.

Zymeria is now at about 135 or 140 tinkering. Same with her on the components. Will build about 100 combines for when the level cap goes up. I can just log in and have that done within a day of the expansion going live.

Carpenter is now 62 about halfway to 63.
Weaponsmith sitting in the middle of 51.
Woodworker dinged 30. Building up her supplies for a run though the 30's. Hope to have that set up by Friday. Whether I spend the money or not. Right now I don't care about that, I just want it done. By the end of April, I want my Carp as close to 70 as she can get. My woodworker to be at least 40 and hopefully my weaponsmith to 55. lol. Not expecting much on her =p.

Sometime today or tomorrow I will make a post, but just wanted to say I added a link to my google photo account. Now the boys pictures are marked private, but the EQ2 are public.

Testing picture link to see if it works. If not I will delete.

EQland

Yes a separate post as the other one was very long.

Krystalea: Doing good, will more than likely ding AA#80 tonight. Been working on quests. Amazing how quick the aa's add up with those. Friday we finally made it to Mistmoore Catacombs. We were only able to kill one named in there, (there was another group in there) so I still have all that AA to get. But is that zone fun. :)

We did Unrest on Saturday night. We also did really well in our little group. We did not end up with much loot at all. But Sas ended up with her class hat, so all is good.

Modex and I ran around Steamfont last night, mentoring one of Scott's alts and doing the quests in there. We did the first round of quests up top, and all of watchman whats his face when you first enter SF, and ended up with over 1 aa. I did get Clockwork L&L finished as well. So we still have the second half of quests, plus we have yet to touch the ones that take us into Klak'anon. It was really fun. We were talking of after SF running over to LFay and doing those, and then I thought this morning, maybe we could run and do the ton of quests in Butcherblock as well.

Depending on Modex (if he logs in tonight) I will do the creature catalogs from DoF. There is 6 of those, and I would think that should get me around 1aa there as well. My goal for this week was to hit 80, now I am thinking 81 or 82 might actually be very feasible.

Some of my other goals, hehe.

Krys is still at 185 transmuting, but I do have 16 powders sitting on her to transmute. I know that wont get me to 200, but I still am keeping a good eye on the broker. I may stick with T4, not sure, as the adepts for T4 are the same price as T1 & T2. Until I hit T6 and I can farm Poets.

Zymeria got her tinkering to 102. Yay. BTW, I hate harvesting. Next.

Attalyne the carpenter, dinged 61 yesterday. I believe that Myrinna my weaponsmith is now level 52. And my Woodworker is level 24 now.

I am getting there. Slowly, but right now, without an announcement for the next expansion, I think I am going really well. Just now thinking, I will have to do the steamfont quests with Zymeria. She is sitting at aa68 I believe.

Happy Easter

Well its been busy busy this past week or so. Easter came and went. It was fun. Saturday started out kind of bad for us. Trenton and Nathan were both really cranky. Trenton had just gotten in trouble for something, so Scott sent him to go lay in bed and calm down. I was getting ready to take a nap (had to get prepared for an Unrest run =p) and I told him to come lay with me. So then Nathan followed us, and Trenton told him to be quiet and get out as he had a headache. Next thing I know it is two hours later and we are both just starting to wake up. Trenton was in a much better mood.

Then Scott decided it was time for him to take a nap. I began fixing lunch for Trenton and myself (as Nathan had already eaten) and I take a glimpse of Nathan. He is sitting on the floor, watching cartoons and looks like he is ready to fall over asleep. So I tell him, "Why don't you climb up on the couch and get comfy, relax for a few minutes and watch your show?" Sure enough, he was out like a light, and I tossed him in bed with Scott.

Finally, everyone in the house is awake, alert and ready to go with no attitude. Now it is time to color Easter eggs, and do you think Scott picked up easy egg coloring kits? Of course not. It wasn't too bad. There was a tie dye egg kit and a glitter egg kit. The boys had a blast doing this and it was great. They could not wait to to see what the Easter bunny had brought them and find the eggs.

Now, I have hardly made comments about my Mother In Law (MIL for short) but I need to now. You see, she showed up on Saturday around 3 or so, to drop off Easter baskets for the boys, but what she failed to tell us, was that she was going to stick around, because Tom had to go to Belvidere and do some work out there. Now MIL lives in BFE (about 1 1/2 hours away) and commutes to Rockford everyday. So does Tom. They live together and have one flipping car. WTF? I cant imagine that. Anyhow. So then she ends up staying until 7:30pm. Seriously. After all the time she spent at my house over the winter, because Tom was on second and she was on first and they didn't want to drive two cars. Get the hell out of my house already. I am still salty over that.

About 5:30 she decided she needed to go over to Modex's and see his daughter and give to her, her Easter basket. She looks at Scott and asks to borrow my car (grrrrrrrrrrrr). Scott tells her, she needs to call over there first. So she does, finds out Modex is not home, and then she just tells (doesn't ask) tells Sarah that she will be there in about 5 minutes. Another WTF?

When she gets back to our house, she is all upset that she didn't feel wanted over there. That Sarah only sat and talked with her for a few minutes and then got up and started dinner. Well, hello?? You invited yourself to her house, at around dinnertime no less, and then get all pissy because she needed to start dinner. WTF? (whats that? number 3?)

Anyways, she left around 7:30, much to my relief and we started backroom night, and our trip to Unrest. Much to my surprise Nathan had fallen asleep at 10pm, even with his nap. But much to my dismay, poor Trenton didn't get to sleep til almost 1am.

Sunday morning was a blast. They ran and found all their eggs and their baskets. Then we spent the rest of our time at home, hiding and finding eggs. We went over to my Mom and Dad's for dinner, yummy. Came home and went to bed early, lol.

Last night, when I got home, Scott was in a real foul mood. Asking him what was wrong led to this: MIL called him on his cell phone, as he was picking up the boys from the sitters. It appears her truck had broken down on the other side of town. Remember her commute. 1 1/2 hours each way. The truck has over 150k miles on it, is around 10 years old, has broken down about 4 times in the past 6 months. 3 of those times, she had called Scott to come help her.

She calls and asks if Scott can come on get her. He tells her no, nicely. He has the boys and I am at work, and he is not gonna waste all this time working with getting her to work and her truck towed with the boys around. She starts to get pissy. He flips out on her. Yelling at her to call a tow truck, shes an adult and can take of this stuff herself. Tells her that he thinks Tom is ruining her and her life. Telling her that she needs to move back to town, and she is not allowed to get pissy at people for not wanting to come out to her house. Tells her to get a better vehicle, like the little Kia we showed her that got 50mpg versus that god forsaken truck and wasting near $200 a week on gas (lord that's more than my house payment). And then she hung up on him. Nice, eh?

She is on second shift this week, so lets see what happens this weekend. She if she calls, or see if she feels that both her boys are now against her. You know, I had some problems with Denny (Scott's dad) but those I could get past, lord I wish he was still with us, and we would not have to deal with this shit. He kept her in line.
