I am tired. Still. And, of course, it is all rainy and dreary outside, which is a very good nap day. Gah to be home and in my bed snoring would be absolutely wonderful right now.
That is really all that is going on at the moment. Need a nap, Obama got the nomination, and it is raining outside. Sweet.
No EQ2 post today either. Haven’t really done anything productive, lol.

EQ 08-25-08
The guild has approx 160pp sitting in the guild bank right now, between Krys and Eyezes we have almost is not more than 15mil status saved up and that doesn’t include the 3mil from Modex that he will probably donate and whatever else gets donated from the members of the guild.
First thing I have to say is that I was crazy stupid doing writs yesterday. I wanted that damn little balck dress that needed 40k faction for that Agents of Neriak. Ya, I had about 3000 faction. So I did writs all damn day, got the guild approx 80% of a level. We had just dinged 46 on Saturday, and we were around 20% in when I started these writs. We are now 10% into 47 (turned in lots of status items as well). I am never doing that again. Of course I say that now, but we all know that one day I will do that again, lol.
Okay back to guild halls. So I figured with all the amenities that we want and a tier 2 hall, we were looking at the purchase price of 477pp and 46mil status. That doesn’t scare me one bit. I have a list of amenities and I will share in a second, we will purchase those as we accrue the status and can buy them. I have them listed in an order of want/need first to 18th. Okay, what scares me is the upkeep. 7pp a week, that is really no big deal at all. 336000 status per week. Yes, I realize that it is only 23 writs/dungeon runs/what have you, the point is to put pressure on the guildies. It will just tear the guild apart, so looking at this from my eyes; this is what I need to do to keep this place up. I know it will be worth it in the long run, but damn, lol.
Guild Translocation Beacon
Guild Hall Banker
Fuel Merchant Hireling
Tradeskill Rush Order Agent
Harvesting Supply Depot
Farseas Express Mailbox
Guild Hall World Market Broker
Tradeskill Writ Agent
Druid Portal Hireling
Teleportation Spire to the Overrealm
Mariner’s Bell: Faydwer
Magic Carpet to Sinking Sands
Mariner’s Bell: Kunark

Kunark Adventure Writ Agent
Gigglegibber Goblin Gamblin’ Game
Status Executor Hireling
That’s the list of stuff I want to put in the guild hall, in the order in which I would like to place it, so to speak. I was thinking one room to be a tradeskill room, which would also include the banker and broker and anything related to tradeskilling. I also thought of a portal type room and then a library, of course. That’s three of the rooms, so that leaves 7 rooms and the atrium. Brander said she would decorate a room or two, and I am sure I would as well.
I hope this all works out for us, it sounds like fun and I think it will be awesome.

This morning they folded clothes, did dishes, tore out my sunflowers and hung the heads up to dry. Then they took a bath and now they are playing games and trying to figure out lunch and dinner. Yes, I fully admit that I am jealous.
I have another zucchini growing in my garden. It was so good. This is what I did and how I will probably do it from here on out. I took some EVOO (damn that Rachel Ray =p) and drizzled that in a pan. Then I took peppers, onions, and probably about 5 cloves of garlic and started cooking that up. About 5-6 minutes. Then I added the cut zucchini’s in. After that, I added a couple tablespoons of butter, and some soy sauce (not a lot). Then when the veggies were all done, I throw in some diced tomatoes, let that sit for about 30-45 seconds, just enough to get a little heat into the tomatoes, and wa-la: heaven on a plate. Damn that was good.
School is going well for me. I believe, think, hope, lol. The math class is pretty cool. They have this set-up where there is no book needed for class as everything is done online. The studying is the best though. You can do the problems over and over and over again, as the same type of problem will change. So you have 35x^-2/xy^-3. You get that solved but want to another? Sure, no problem. The next problem it will give you is 32x^-5/x^2y^-7. So it is the same problem, just different numbers. It is awesome, I totally love it. I am going to talk to my teacher, hopefully tonight and see if this will be available for Trig for next semester. God I hope so.
The religion class is going good as well. It is very interesting, and it is so much fun, it really is. We will guest speakers throughout the semester. I think the total was 5 guest speakers. We will have a field trip into Chicago. I cannot wait for that. And, of course, there is the obligatory research paper. Yikes! I have been thinking of doing my paper on how Christmas traditions were taking from the pagans to convert them over to Christianity. We shall see.
The boys are doing wonderfully. They are enjoying school, for the most part. Well Trenton is hanging in there and Nathan is just enamored with school, of course, lol. On Friday when Scott took Nathan to school, they were playing on the playground and Nathan was being all clingy, Scott was thinking he would have to play the asshole to get him to go to class. I guess he was refusing to let go of Scott while they were out there. Well Scott was thinking all wrong, lol. When the bell rang for the kids to get in line and start heading to their classrooms, Nathan looked at Scott and said, “Bye dad!” and took off running and got in line. That had to be great, hehe.
Well I think that is it for now. Off to start working on my EQ post =p

I do forsee it costing approx 450pp and 45million status upfront and 7pp/300k status a week thereafter for everything I want in the hall. I am going to ditch Zymeria’s house and keep all that stuff to decorate the hall with. So, ya, theres 50pp worth of crap I don’t need to purchase to decorate with. /sigh

The boys started school this week as well. Trenton says he wasn’t excited but he was complaining that he had to wait another 15 minutes before we could leave. Is it time yet? Is it time yet? And so forth.
Nathan is very excited to be back in school. Today is the first full day, so we shall see what happens when he comes home tonight.

I was kind of disappointed with the lack of a level increase. But now that I have thought about it, it really doesn’t bother me all that much anymore. It gives me over a year to get my armourer (might make her a tailor with Modex being off and on) to level. It gives Krys over a year to get 24 more points in Transmuting and build up stock for the next level increase. It gives all my toons over a year to get masters, armor, and so forth. It gives the guild a chance to get more levels. It gives me a year to get the last three to level 80 adventurer =p
I also think it sounds a lot like LdoN from EQ1. Which, right now, sounds like a lot of fun. I am actually getting kind of excited about it. Didn’t think I would.
Guild halls: OMG, the price!!!!
That’s okay, the guild members are such wonderful troopers. We have 123pp sitting in the bank atm, and we are slowly working on building up more. /nods. I made over 125 adept 3’s yesterday and about 30 pieces of furniture out of all the rares in the bank. They are still over 10 loams, 10 hard metals, 30 roots, and 30 pelts sitting in there. Unforunately, we do not have a tailor (Modex) online until this weekend, so he can make those into quivers/armor/bags. If I had to gander a guess, that would probably be 100pp right there, giving the various prices things can be put up for.
I also emptied the guild collection bank and put all those up. No big ones, lol, I think the highest priced one I put on the broker was approximately 5g. But if you go through my three toons with stuff listed on them there is around 20pages. Yikes. The whole guild really came together this weekend when the price of the hall came out. I am really impressed with it.
Our goal is guild level 50 by the release of guild halls and the purchase of a Tier 2 hall. I really hope they up the item limit though. 10 rooms, I can see two rooms being dedicated to crafting, lol. With a banker, harvesting depot, the broker, and so forth. I am very excited at this prospect. I really hope that the Devs will drop the price a tad, and up the item limit on the halls. Also would like to see it on the island and not in town.
Okay I think that’s it for now. See you in game!!!

Okay let’s start with the job situation. It royally sucks donkey balls. Scott has been out there for 6 months now, looking and applying and just plain old beating feet, and here we sit, with him still unemployed. We thought Target had gone really well. Well we still haven’t heard anything from them. They are hiring over 100 people. The guy apparently liked Scott a lot. The interview lasted an hour. Why in the hell have they not called?? I think on Wednesday, he should call them and ask them what is going on. /nods
School for the boys starts this week. Trenton starts on Wednesday for only two hours. Parent orientation for Nathan on Wednesday night, then Nathan starts school on Thursday. Nathan is looking very forward to beginning school. He has been asking and asking for the past 6 weeks when school is going to start.
I start school tonight. I am scared, nervous, excited, and all around not sure if I am doing the right thing. I mean school is never wrong, but I am also 33, will be damn near 40/41 when I graduate. I know it is the right thing. I know it is. Now tell my body to stop acting all crazy and get rid of the nervousness.

Trenton’s birthday party was quite fun. He made out like a bandit as well. He got a lovely cake from DQ. The Strawberry Cheesequake Cake, and it was rather tasty. As for the present department, he did fairly well there too. He got for the Wii, WallE and Lego Indiana Jones. He got 3 games for the playstation. A skateboard, a flat ball, a lock for his bike (Nathan was adamant that he needed one), two Magic Treehouse books, a Dinosaur Encyclopedia book, a camera and a camera carrying case.
Friday night at the Riverhawks game was pretty cool as well. Trenton’s Coach took his team to the Riverhawks (our local ball team). When they got there, they were able to go on the field. They met the players, got autographs, and the cool part is they got to run out on the field with players as they were being announced. The boys got to hang around on the field until the National Anthem was sung, then they came in and watched (ha) the game. They also got to sing the 7th inning stretch. That was amusing. The lady with the microphone came over and the boys started singing (picture 10 7-8yr olds). As the song progressed, and the boys grew less timid, they got louder. And louder. By the end of the song, the lady had passed the microphone to one of the boys and covered her ears. All us parents were laughing our asses off though, it was awesome.
Sunday was school shopping day. We got all of Trenton’s school supplies, and then clothes for both Trenton and Nathan. The only thing we forgot was a backpack for Trenton. I, even as we speak, have all my stuff for school. Two damn classes and the tuition was $460 (not too bad) but it was the books, holy crap. Books were $200 and then the calculator was $125. I fell out of my chair. So now the countdown has begun. 13 days until I start school, 15 days until Trenton starts school, and 16 days until Nathan starts kindergarten. /cries
